Why Blog Marketing?
For starters let me explain what blog marketing is: To put it simply it is when a person/company writes articles in a blogging platform about whatever they are trying to promote to the general public.
There are many reasons for doing this; the most popular one is because of the longterm marketing benefits.
Blog marketing has many benefits
As previously mentioned, most people that use blog marketing do so for the long term benefits. When you post something to a blog it stays online forever. It’s akin to having put up a permanent billboard on the internet.
This means that people will be seeing your blog and information for years to come. With the proper setup and SEO syndication you can get that information seen in the first few pages of the search engines on a regular basis, over and over again.
Blog marketing is a great way for prospects to review what you’re promoting.
When someone types in the keywords that you’ve used in your blog, it comes up in search engines where it can be reviewed, while providing a means for the reader to get in touch with you. By the time this prospect reaches out, they’re all ready prepared to learn more or buy from you.
You can foster relationships and build trust with many people through blog marketing.
This is done by writing about things that give value to others, either through writing “How-To” articles, “Information Posts,” or “Company Reviews.”
When you deliver regular, well-written, proven articles people will see that you’re a person of authority; someone who cares about them. This demonstrates your value and also fosters a level of trust in you as an advisor.
Ultimately, this creates a conducive relationship for you to be able to see your product and service offers convert, due to the level of established trust between you and your audience.
Finally, blog marketing makes it easy for you and others to share your information.
When someone asks for information about what you offer, you and your blog followers can send them to your blog to get more information. This allows for you to gain more visibility on the internet. In some cases it could also demonstrate more social proof in what you’re doing because others are sharing your information with their associates.
What’s the downside to blog marketing?
Blog marketing can take some time to get going.
Most individuals giving it a “first try” find that it takes at least 6 months to a year (sometimes more), to build up a presence on the internet generates the aforementioned benefits.
As rewarding an experience as it can be to “build your own blog,” the learning curve can be a major deterrent for newbies. You have to learn how to setup the blog, learn codes, research what to write about, learn how to get search engine ranked, avoid the “no no’s” of blog marketing (which could get you blacklisted or ghosted forever if you violate them) and the list goes on and on…
Some opt for simplicity in their blog marketing
Recently a new offering has emerged which offers a simplified means to blog marketing and a chance to bypass most of the learning curve associated with blog marketing.
It was designed to teach the basics quickly and to put users onto a blogging platform that is all ready viral (meaning it ALL READY gets a ton of search engine traffic, making it much easier for you to rank).
There are no codes to learn and it is literally designed to help you build an online presence most expediently.
In addition, it is designed to teach you the musts so that you can become an ACE at blog marketing, helping you continually improve. The name of the platform is Empower Network. Last time I checked their Alexa ranking it was 1,059 - putting it right up there in visibility with Facebook and Google.
With Empower Network you get access to everything you need to succeed in blog marketing while taking your business to new levels, and earning money for your efforts.

Hey Cat,
Blog Marketing is indeed a great way to build your business. But, like you said, it takes some time. For me, I have been blogging for 3 years now, and not a lot of results (I assume that it is because I don’t do much marketing/networking at all; I should probably start spending more time with it). I am still trying, with my 4 months old new blog and a collaborative 3 days old blog

Hi Jeevan,
Great to see you!
I know that what you have experienced is also what many others experience too, Jeevan. Depending on how you are blogging and for what purpose will determine what your earnings will be (or whether you will have any to speak of).
I did have some struggle with that same part at first, but I found a really cool tool that I use which helped me restructure my blog and how I used it so that I could earn money online. It made a huge difference for me in terms of how I looked at my own blog and how I would share on it with others.
Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help with anything! Sometimes it’s just a matter of making some little tweaks.
I haven’t dropped by your place in some time, as I have been so busy doing daily posting here and operating my primary business. I will head over there now to check out your latest!
Hope your week is off to a great start!!

A bit late for a reply, but still
You are right. My purpose right now is to provide the maximum value and gain more loyal visitors to my blogs.
That’s great (what tool is it?).
Thank you for offering help, Cat! It is the support and encouragement from people like you that inspire us, upcoming bloggers to do better

Hi Jeevan,
No worries on the reply. I know we all do our best to get to things in the manner that makes most sense in our lives!
I think that it’s great you have your purpose sorted out. Max value is a huge way to drive loyalty to your blog.
The tools that I am using are very good, there are really 3 that I value most which have helped immensely: MLSP, NMVT, Empower Network. If you have any questions about them, do let me know. I have been able to monetize my blog nicely by using these types of tools to give myself an edge.
And you are most welcome for the offer for help! It’s my pleasure to help my community of readers accomplish what they want to do in their pursuits. It’s so much fun to see others involved in their creative process, making strides, and living a life of EMPOWERMENT.
Cheers to the weekend at hand! I’ve been jam-packing this week full so I’m just excited for a bit of relaxation and time to decompress! lol I hope you have yourself a good one!

Amen to that Cat! I believe everyone should have a blog but I’m prejudice too!
If you are online creating any type of business I honestly believe it’s in your best interest to have a blog. Most people use their blog to build relationships because this is really the best place to get to know others. Marketing your products, services or opportunity is something that should be included as well because as I learned the hard way, we are doing a disservice to our readers by not sharing what we’re doing and some of the products that have helped us along the way. Let’s face it, we’re going to need this stuff.
I know that with the Empower Network, which I am not a part of, they have made it much easier for the new bloggers to get up and running in no time at all. Because you promote it and believe in it so much, I support you 100% because I know where your heart is and you truly are eager to help others get a quick start to this fabulous career that is awaiting them.
Thank you for sharing this Cat, well done and once again, right on!
Hope you’re enjoying your day!

And hallelu! I concur with what you’ve said about having a blog! – And I’m also prejudiced, but shhh, don’t tell anyone, k?
I think that many people get stuck on the point you made about not sharing what they’re doing or tools they’re using with others. It seems like sharing things that earn us money is a polarizing concept for some people. I think I can understand that, but at the same time, it’s one of those notions that completely undermines our business pursuits.
I think that when we care for people, we can share things openly, with them in mind (as you said)…and it doesn’t have to be a weird thing. No one has to pander or push anyone into doing anything; but it is important to let people know what’s working. And for anyone who’s really building a business online, it’s pretty much inevitable that they’re going to be paying for some of the tools they use or services they hire out. For me, I’d much rather take a recommendation from a trusted associate who I admire and would like to emulate – and I want for them to be compensated for helping me!
The Empower blogs are making me very happy at the moment, Adrienne. I think it’s neat because these come with so much potential and simplicity that in a very cost effective way, we get people blogging and making money at the same time and then can cruise them (at their pace) into more self-branded marketing tools like our mutual fave, self-hosted WordPress. By the time we get them there, they have the “hang” of blogging and they’re all ready making money, so it’s like not coming out of pocket at all and having cashflow, plus savvy to apply to their endeavours.
Thank you so much for all your support and wonderful feedback! It means a lot to me to hear what your insights are into these matters because you certainly do set a standard for a huge community!
And yes, it was an amazing day and now night! I hope that the same was true for you!!
Cat
Catherine,
I have read so much about Marketing System how it can support itself automate, website
a blog and wordpress and why you need a blog for your business. Myself having no knowledge how to do Blogging,
Advertising and Network Marketing, boy I have so much more to learn about the whole system.
You said someting about need a base to let people know of your personal values which is a way
of sharing and targeting your audience. Yes we must have a good relation with our clients at all the time, be honest with them too, that exactly what I am doing now promoting the Home Page Pays through the local schools. What I have to do now is start searching for a good topics, learn how to write a blog and share it with others. Thank you Catherine.. Maggie Baldwin

Hello Maggie,
Always nice to hear from you, dear.
Yes, in order to have a successful business, one must initially establish a base of operation. In this day and age, this can be done in a virtual sense, presenting opportunity to many who previously would have been considered poor candidates for business ownership.
There is always a learning curve associated with anything worth doing…or that’s what I feel, at least. – So, yes, it takes some time to develop competence in online marketing, however, with systems such as Empower Network and Network Marketing VT, it is much simpler to forge ahead in that direction.
I’m happy that you took something positive from the post here, Maggie!
Cheers,
Cat
