Success is a Challenge – Are you up for it??

by Cat on March 12, 2012

rise to the challenteIf you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, you know that I’m pretty firm in my position that business and internet marketing is a competitive sport.

As any other competitive sport, to be successful, it’s a must for us to sharpen up our A-Game in order to even compete.

So here goes…

A couple of excellent marketers and top leaders who I know from within the MLSP community, Jordan Schultz and Adam Chandler, have put together a 100 day business builder’s challenge. I have decided to participate in this challenge to grow myself further and also to help others who are ready to rise to the challenge of success!

Jordan and Adam have put this challenge together to:

“to push you out of your comfort zone so that you can create new, successful business building habits and build a very lucrative network marketing business.”

I have a couple of questions I’d like to put out to you:

  1. Are you looking for success in your business?
  2. Are you ready to rise to the challenge of gaining that success?

If you answered yes to those questions then I want to invite you to join me in this 100 day business builders challenge!

A couple things to keep in mind:

  1. You must be registered by Wednesday, March 14th! Do that here.
  2. If you’re not all ready in MLSP, you need to be in it to participate (It’s only $9.97 to check that out and you can do that here).

As a part of the challenge, I was asked to create a video about why I wanted to participate. I’ve posted it up on YouTube and you can see it here:

Your success is determined by your daily agenda. – John C. Maxwell

Basically our success boils down to US.

I want you to reach out to me if you have any questions about this! I’m pretty accessible – you can inbox me right here if you want.

I hope that you’re ready to rise to the challenge of your own success right now! If you’re not yet a part of the challenge, let’s get connected now and begin building your business and your dreams together! Failure doesn’t have to be an option! There’s so much power and inspiration in community, let’s do this!!

Is that $9.97 total cost for the whole challenge?
This looks interesting. I have been on 100 day challenges (actually we set 90 day campaigns, just seemed easier) for the past 5 Decades. Interesting to keep the data and refer back to the liner notes and results.
Really weird, because most of the crops we grew were 90 Day Crops, but if the projects were longer, we still broke the increments down to 90 days.
For instance Pistachios take 9 years to produce but you still need a short term Written Strategy Plan (challenge) along the way as the trees mature.

Hi Chuck,

The $9.97 is a trial of MLSP (2 weeks, non-obligatory). Going forward it’s $49.97/month, but folks can start and/or stop at any time if they find it’s not the right fit.

The challenge will be great. I have seen Jordan and Adam rise by being committed and sticking to a plan. I have a feeling that this will be a huge growing experience (a fun one) for those who participate. That’s great that you have so many challenges under your belt and that you reflect upon your own journey. I think that’s always a good idea because sometimes our progresses are so minute in the moment, but over time we can see just how far we’ve come. Kind of like watching grass grow! :)

I love your pistachios analogy! Definitely going to check out your blog post.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Chuck. Your perspectives always contribute something fun and new to consider!

Hey Cat,
Nice to see ya doing videos again and taking this challenge. Yup, you said it right, it’s up to us to create peace, happiness and abundance on every level. Also, staying open to opportunities and new perspectives can open new directions you never imagined before. A business building challenge is an opportunity to do so.
I’m looking forward to see and learn what you will share in the next posts as a business challenger :)

Keep rocking,
Radu

Hi Radu,

So nice to see you in my comments! Thanks for the encouragement about the challenge! I know I can push myself more and this is a great way to do just that!

I love your statement about it being our personal responsibility to create peace, happiness and abundance. This is true!

Are you going to be participating in the 100 day challenge??

I have been hearing about this challenge – first @ Adrienne’s and now at yours.

I am glad that you took the challenge – I would love to take it too – but I am not sure that I will be free (I do have college stuff to do) and I am just blogging for fun, rather than for business – I need to get more business oriented, might do that in the future.

Anyways, best of luck with the challenge!

Hey hey Jeevan, great to see ya! ;)

Yeah, I’m in GREAT company on this challenge with Adrienne and several others. Thanks for the well wishes on it!

I knew I needed to be spending more time producing content (especially with regard to multi-formatting), so this was the “kick in the pants” for me to do that! lol Sometimes we just need to take the plunge, eh?

I wish you could participate with us this time, but it seems like you have some other more urgent matters for the time being. I love that you’ve been blogging so seriously “just for fun” – that says a lot about you, Jeevan. I can only imagine what your “for serious” commitments are like! I’m sure you’re a great student. What are you studying??

Let me know if I can help with anything related to your blogging or if you’d be interested in some Guest Blogging. I’m pretty open-minded about things and would like to collaborate when it’s convenient timing!

Have a rocking rest of your week!

Dear Deeone,

Great to see your sweet face here in my comments! :) Thanks for popping by to check up on my latest and leave such a sweet comment about my video, message, and ENERGY! :D You made my day! The John C. Maxwell quote is indeed a thought-provoker. Prolific stuff, so true and so simple!

I really appreciate your support in my challenge, Deeone. Means a lot to me! It’s been so fun these past couple of days. I’ve been putting together some more helpful videos for internet marketing success tips. I’m working on a new intro/outtro video to add to the beginnings and/or endings and should have that ready in the next few days, so you’ll see some more videos of mine up on YouTube and here soon!

Thanks so much for brightening up my comments, Deeone! You’re a bright light in the world, my friend!

Sorry I’m late in responding to your post Cat but I watched your video on YouTube. Hope you’ll start doing more.

I’m so happy you are doing this challenge and I really believe that it can help so many people take their business up a notch. I say this because I hear so many people tell me that they don’t know what they’re suppose to be doing every day. Well not only will this challenge help with that but you can partner with accountability partners in order to make sure that you are staying on track and ask for any help along the way.

I’m ready for our 2nd webinar tonight so we’ll see how everyone has done their first week.

To your success young lady!

I’ll be watching closely on updates on 100 day challenge. I’ll have to pass on this round, but will definitely keep MLSP in mind when I do my month-end review.

You sparkle :)

Hey Dee,

AWWW THANK YOU! :D *deep curtsey* So glad you are digging the energy and the sparkles! I think we need to really “bring it” when we’re showing what we have. I am pretty passionate about what I choose to do in life!

No worries on missing this go-round with the challenge. Life and business are delicate negotiations; we must choose our timing. Let me know what I can do to help and also if you have any questions about MLSP. I did a little post about it here on this page, in case you want to read it.

If I don’t see you til next week, hope you have a FAB weekend!

Hey Cat, It is great to see a challenge. Every time I did one I have grown in leaps and bounds. I only wish I had the time to do this with you. I would be a lot of fun. Maybe I’ll catch the next round.
I’m committed to so many projects right now, my coach won’t let me look an another shinny thing. This one is great. I have so many
friends that are in this group, and have been in the past and they learned so much. It is a reputable group and great place to be.
I know you will keep us posted every step of the way!
Looking forward to it.

Dear Donna,

Thanks so much for your kind words of encouragement! I am really excited about this challenge. In just the short time I’ve been in it, I have seen a quick increase in my lead-flow/lead-quality, and I’ve identified some pretty significant “holes” in my current operations which has empowered me to make some insightful improvements! What a great value!

I wish you could participate with us too because I know that would be oh so much fun!! BUT – timing is such an important thing in life and it sounds like you have a tremendous opportunity in front of you now which is not worth becoming sidetracked over! We can surely “put a pin in it” for next go-round!

I really do want to hear more about what you’re experiencing with your current group, Donna. It sounds like a rare synergy is taking place – what a gift! I know you’re going to up your bar and surely see some major breakthroughs!

Kudos, Donna! Thank you for brightening up my day with your words and your smile! :) It’s always nice to exchange with you!

Hope you’re enjoying your weekend to the MAX!

Anyway, I hope this is a great success for you. 100 days is a pretty big commitment and I give you big props for going for it! I’ll be cheering you on :)

Hi Carol Lynn,

Thanks so much for cheering me on and checking out my 100 Day Biz Challenge video!

I agree with you in that it’s tough to get a real *feel* for people when we only experience them in 2-D! lol One of the things I’m working on right now is doing more video. I want to connect more and show people who I am and “how I roll.” In the very short time I’ve been in this challenge, I have seen a quite amazing upward surge in my business. I have generated more leads in the past few days, automatically, than before. I have sponsored people into MLSP as well as my primary business, sold several affiliate products, and I feel like I haven’t really broken a sweat yet!

I think that’s a testament to the power of what is possible when we simply adjust our focus.

I really appreciate your kind words and support, Carol Lynn! I’m going to be heavily invested in this process for the next few months here – it means a TON to me to have so many great friends in the online world who are so encouraging and wonderful, such as yourself!

Hope you’re enjoying your weekend as much as I am!!!
