Hey Cat,
So glad you are also giving away one of these fabulous plug-ins as well. I’ve been using the CommentLuv plug-in for about two years now and it’s really helped drive traffic to my blog. With the premium version you now can delete seven other plug-ins and really free up some space on your blog. We all know how important load time is.
I love the stats on my dashboard and seeing which posts are being viewed the most. It also shows you where your traffic is coming from and I think that’s great. I could go on about being able to turn on or off the dofollow feature on certain comments. There might be a few you don’t necessarily want to share the love. Ah, so many wonderful features I just love them all.
I think it’s awesome that you are able to give away one of these plug-ins. Good luck to everyone so be sure and get in on this.

I’m really excited about all the features of CommentLuv Premium. I had been using the basic version for some time and couldn’t believe then that there was no charge for it…Andy Bailey really has outdone himself with this amazing little plugin. The ingenuity really blows me away! I, like you, loved that I was able to lighten my blog’s “load” by getting rid of some of the other plugins that I no longer needed since this one does everything.
Dashboard stats are very cool – have to be careful though because I can get mesmerized at times just sorting through the details. lol I haven’t NoFollowed anyone yet – still learning some of the features here, but it’s definitely cool to have a level of control over how and who we “share the love” with.
I’m looking forward to paying it forward by giving this app away to someone who will benefit even 1/2 as much as I have from it!

I haven’t really heard any issues with browser compatibility since I switched to this theme here. I used to get it all the time before when I was using a free theme, though. I think it’s a pretty common occurrence and it tends to depend on how the theme was configured. There are just so many out there. I always recommend going with a good quality paid theme. With something like Thesis, you get support with it, so if you ever have problems there’s a way to get them resolved! So yeah, Thesis is my recommendation to you!

I think that you’ll find that CommentLuv Premium was worth ever nickel it cost. Just be a little patient with yourself if you’re new at setting things up for your blog. It does have lots of possible set up combos to play with. The great thing is that it comes fully supported. I have been impressed with the level of service I have gotten when I have requested assistance from Andy Bailey.

I have found on some sites where comment luv has been installed and when posted comment yet they don’t appear immediately.What’s the matter in these cases and to get our comments approved.Yet the comments made are content related.

The owner of the blogs where CommentLuv is used have the ability to publish comments at their discretion. Everyone may configure their CommentLuv plugin however they want and some people simply choose not to publish all comments. That’s really up to the blog owner.

How nice to meet you! Thanks for taking a moment to get connected with me here. I think that the SPAM filtering on the Premium version is fantastic. I seldomly receive nuisance messages at all. I don’t recall how different it is between Premium and free because I wasn’t on the free version very long. As soon as Premium rolled out I just went for it because I found the plugin to be so worthy that I mostly wanted to support Andy Bailey’s valiant efforts.
I give CommentLuv Premium the strongest of recommendations, Shonda. Andy Bailey continues to develop this offering immensely and has given so many invaluable freebies and offered excellent support. It’s a worthy investment into one’s blog. I hope you’ll give it a shot because I am relatively certain you’ll find it to be a huge “plus” for your efforts. Everyone I know who has bought CommentLuv Premium raves about it.

The competition was steep and I did award the plugin all ready. It was a fun contest!
What is so cool about this plugin is that it handles most of that SPAM for you. I rarely have to go into my SPAM folder to sift thru junk anymore. The anti-SPAM program that’s built-in is called GASP and it’s soooo much better than Akismet and some of the others I’ve tried in the past. I think that it’s totally worth it. In fact, I noticed less SPAM to deal with, even with extra comments coming in.
If I had to pick my favourite and most indispensable premium WordPress plugin, it would be CommentLuv Premium, hands down.

I’m glad you found the info helpful! CommentLuv Premium is the bomb! (Are people still saying that?? lol) Definitely make sure you’re taking full advantage of all the features. Since I started using them, my comment section has really been kicked up several notches and I’ve been getting a lot better interactions going with people due to all the social enticements (AKA “ethical bribes”).

Premium seems amazing. The best part I like about it is the keywordluv. It makes comments look better with the name of the person and the keyword separate. It lessens the ugly names that use keywords too, so less spam.

People have really begun to leave better comments and feedback because of the opportunity to get their own advert mixed in, they want to look good! It’s very awesome how it all works. The major changes are just the things that I listed above in the post. I would also make sure to watch the video that I included above. Andy Bailey (the creator of CommentLuv Premium) demos the product. The social enticements are really what drive this further for me. When we incentivize the commenting process like this, people really go out of their way to share our content. That, my dear, is worth its weight in SPADES!

I didn’t see your comment til today (you went into my bulk filter – I do not approve comments that do not have a real person’s name, but am making one exception here since you did ask me a valid question).
Unfortunately this plugin is just for Wordpress at this time. I honestly haven’t seen ANYTHING even similar to this anywhere else in the marketplace for Joomla or any other blogging platform. It’s a one of a kind, just like it’s creator, Andy Bailey.
